Care Quality Commission

At HomeCareDirect we are proud to be registered with the Care Quality Commission.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and adult social care services in England.  They also protect the interests of people whose rights are restricted under the Mental Health Act.

Whether these services are provided by the NHS, local authorities/councils, private companies or voluntary organisations, they make sure that people get the best care at the highest standards.

Using an organisation such as HomeCareDirect that is registered with the CQC gives you the peace of mind that your care and support is regulated and we are held accountable if the support we give you isn’t to the highest possible standard.  It also means you are able to complain to an independent body if, after talking to us, you still aren’t happy with your care and support.

The CQC inspect and continually monitor the information they hold about a service provider such as HomeCareDirect.  Their qualified inspectors visit health and adult social care services across England to check that they are meeting the standards.  They make unannounced inspections of services on a regular basis and at any time in response to concerns.
