CredAbility is being formally launched at the House of Commons in July!

Nimbus: Disability Consultancy worked alongside disabled people to develop the CredAbility quality assurance system. CredAbility is an accreditation and quality assurance system that has been designed and developed by disabled people looking for some assurance before spending their Personal Budgets with Independent providers.  CredAbility is all about providing an additional layer of informed choice and control and peace of mind for people purchasing goods and services from independent providers. Their website is for disabled people, carers, friends, professionals and anyone who wants to know more about quality services and accessible buildings.

Home Care Direct have been proud to work with CredAbility since December 2012 and we are all really excited about the potential impact this launch in the House of Commons will have on the CredAbility programme and is a great chance to show the assembled great and diverse range of organisations who have Committed to Quality for Disabled Customers.

As such CredAbility filmed one of the Home Care Direct team, Gary Smelt, at a recent CredAbility event. During the House of Commons event there will be video presentations, photo slide show and marketing materials available and this video will be shown, along with ones from other accredited providers.

Check out the video of Gary talking about Home Care Direct and CredAbility on You Tube here. Gary thoroughly enjoyed this spontaneous request to be filmed talking about the great work CredAbility does and how Home Care Direct has enjoyed this partnership working.
