HomeCareDirect charges a flat fee of £3.00 per hour of support provided. Included in this £3.00 is:
- HomeCareDirect taking on the legal employer responsibility of a person’s chosen personal assistants (PAs)
- Full payroll service
- A managed bank account to receive the direct payment funds. Quarterly financial returns and bank account balances to funders provided on request
- A dedicated independent living advisor to help you direct your own support
- Employers and Public liability insurance
- Full personal assistant recruitment support including use of our personal assistant database
- Maternity/Paternity and sickness pay
- Provide automatic enrolment pension facility for your personal assistants
- Induction training for all personal assistants
- Access to our dedicated training department and full support to source ongoing training for your personal assistants
- On-going monitoring of when training updates are required for your personal assistants
- 24/7 telephone support for you and your personal assistants from our experts in self-directed support
- Care delivery to CQC standards
- TeleCare – Automating timesheets and payroll with remote monitoring of service delivery, helping to ensure your safety
- 2 personal assistant supervision visits per year and annual package review

What makes up the rest of the hourly rate will be unique to you, depending on where you find your personal assistants and how much you want to pay them. Their training requirements, which are based solely on your needs, will also be uniquely priced for your situation – all to ensure you get the highest quality, truly personalised support.
