Charities and Voluntary Groups

HCD has a long history of working in partnership with charities and voluntary groups nationwide. We value the vital services that are supplied from this sector, and the impact these have on the lives of people who use our service.

In 2012, HCD founded the charity Together is Better in response to concerns over funding cuts for charities and voluntary groups, who help to support many HCD clients nationwide.

The recent government cuts present a very real threat to the vital charitable services provided up and down the country.

Together is Better was created to help charities and voluntary groups to receive sustainable funding through their members health or social care personal budgets.

HCD have made a commitment to support charities and voluntary groups who support their clients. We make regular donations to charities and voluntary groups to help them continue to provide their vital services to HCD clients and communities as a whole. It is hoped that this will help contribute towards sustainable, long term funding.
