London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham Council
The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham is a London borough in West London, and forms part of Inner London. In 1960, the BBC opened the BBC Television Centre which sadly closed its doors in 2013. Hammersmith and Fulham council formed a Tri Borough council with Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster in 2013. The aim of adult social care services in the area is to enable residents who are eligible for social care funding to gain maximum independence, make choices, about their care, stay healthy and safe and increase their ability to participate in family and community life.
HomeCareDirect have been working very closely with the direct payment and personal budget teams within the council and are helping bring the Middle Way of care at home to hundreds of people throughout the country. We see the Middle Way as allowing people to choose and be in control of their care at home but without the hassle of having to employ their own care staff – we can help with this, please get in touch with us to find out more.
