London Borough of Hounslow Council
The London Borough of Hounslow is a London borough in west London, part of Outer London. Apart from the borough’s town of the same name, the largest settlements in the borough are Chiswick, Brentford and Feltham. The borough includes Osterley Park, Syon House, Kew Bridge Steam Museum, Chiswick House and to the south-east borders the River Thames.
Traveling plays a major role in the economy of this area and Hounslow Heath which is a natural reserve was once the site of the UK’s first civil airport and Heathrow Airport, just down the road is a major employer in this area. Famous residents have included Bobby Davro, Jimmy Carr, Mo Farrah and Phil Collins.
