As well as the support provided by the team at head office, we also have a network of independent living nurses who use their vast experience to support people and their personal assistants out in the community.

HomeCareDirect was established in 2003 by our current team of directors who recognised that personal budgets and direct payments gave people the chance to take control over their care at home. They wanted to help people to realise this dream by making the process as easy as possible. Since they play such a big role in the company, we thought it best to introduce them to you!
As a quality provider of care at home services HomeCareDirect is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and as such have a registered manager who takes overall responsibility in respect of the regulated activities we carry out.
Independent Living Advisor Team
As part of your service from HomeCareDirect, you will be allocated a personal independent living advisor. This qualified independent living advisor will help you make the most out of directing your support. They will also be a dedicated contact for your team of personal assistants. Your independent living advisor will help you as much or as little as you like.
Lead Independent Living Advisors
Our highly experienced lead independent living advisors are here to assist you in getting your package set up in a way that works for you. Your dedicated lead independent living advisor will be with you throughout the process of finalising your funding, designing your support package and recruiting your personal assistants. They will support you right the way through to your package starting, so you can rest assured everything is working exactly as you want it to be.
Independent Living Nurses
HomeCareDirect have a great national network of independent living nurses who work in the community and your local support. They will help you plan your support, train your personal assistant team and help you get your package of support up and running.
Human Resources Team
Our human resources team provides support and development to all employees of HomeCareDirect, they help staff members and managers across the organisation in managing their teams, dealing with individual issues and problems, give advice on employment law and they are involved in many projects to help make HomeCareDirect a great place to work.

Business Development Team
The Business Development Team is responsible for helping spread the word nationwide about the services HomeCareDirect offer and the Middle Way approach to care.
This is done by extensive relationship and account management by a combination of office and field based workers letting individuals and commissioners know how we can help them.
The team also creates all the marketing material for the organisation, runs the website, email marketing, text message services and social media sites that are extensively used to get the HomeCareDirect brand out there. The team is also the initial point of contact for all initial referrals into the company.
