A new web tool will help councils and their partners reduce unnecessary bureaucracy and to simplify their social care systems, so that people experience better care and support.

The Personal Budgets Minimum Process Framework helps councils through common social care practice, by suggesting simpler ways to meet people’s needs. The interactive tool for local authorities and partners to deliver Care Act compliant lean social care systems and processes for delivering personal budgets. Published on the Think Local Act Personal website, it lists what councils must do to meet their Care Act responsibilities, whilst also addressing many of the process problems reported by people who use services, carers and families.
