Rural Arts have been in existence for over 20 years and also run outreach workshops
across North Yorkshire and beyond for groups and organisations.
They usually work in conjunction with care workers and support staff who can come along to the creative sessions. Rural Arts recently ran a community learning project over the summer which involved 88 people over the summer who took part in a ceramic project creating a variety of bowls, tiles, pots and porcelain jewellery. Their work was exhibited in our former courtroom exhibition space and they also held a celebration event for those taking part so that they could invite family and friends to see their work.
