Jeremy has been a software developer for over 20 years and started HomeCareDirect with fellow director Roger Adams, after working on a variety of other care industry and health company software applications.
As IT director, Jeremy oversees development of all software and other IT systems that HomeCareDirect uses to control and monitor all aspects of our client’s care packages, from the website and applications used by our clients including our support boxes and other means of electronically recording personal assistants visits, through to the software used by our office team to help manage all aspects of care to meet CQC standards and undertake payroll for all our personal assistants.
Jeremy still likes to undertake development himself, but also has a team of other developers and testers who do an excellent job in keeping our technology the best available and continually up to date.
Jeremy’s background is in electronics and computing, and started his working life working at Rolls-Royce, where he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) and a Masters in Business Administration but has spent most of his life developing software applications.
He is a keen cyclist, football supporter and photographer, and lives with his wife, a Staff Nurse in the local hospital and their cat.
