Dosh have launched a series of fact sheets on managing money aimed at family carers.

Dosh provides financial advocacy, appointeeship, account management and other money support to adults with a learning disability.

The fact sheets are a response to a local project the financial advocacy organisation worked on with Sheffield Mencap and Gateway and family carers who support a relative with a learning disability with their money.

The project identified that many family carers want to support their relative with money, but often find the process complicated, confusing and stressful.

The fact sheets give key information on topics such as benefits, family banking, appointeeships, and mental capacity and money.

You can download the fact sheets and view lots more useful information on the Dosh website here.
