Job Description

AN OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

This position is an on-going quality assurance monitoring role, responsible initially to the managing director and providing reports to managers and directors, to help ensure compliance with the high quality standards and key performance indicators (KPIs) set by the company and to meet the standards of the Care Quality Commission. This role also includes the organising and managing the process of annual client budget reviews as an integral part of the service quality for our clients.   

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality Assurance  

  • To ensure that the company is compliant regarding CQC outcome 16 Assessing and monitoring the quality of service provision.
  • Create and monitor reports from the company’s internal HCDA system as documented and as agreed by the managing directors.
  • Monitor compliance to timescales of all activities required by the company as detailed by the reports.
  • Provide monthly QA reports to the relevant manager for the managers to take action to rectify.
  • Provide minimum monthly quality assurance reports as required to the managing director.
  • Be aware of, and express written concern, to the managing director, of any quality assurance items, of which you may become aware, but which are not currently being reported.
  • Be involved and report any IT issues and concerns appertaining to the role in relation to quality assurance.
  • At the request of the department manager, to investigate and report to the manager, the reason for a KPI non-compliance referral to HR.   Annual Client Budget ReviewsThis includes :-
  • This position incorporates the role of managing and monitoring the process of the annual client budget review of each client.
  • Initiating each client annual budget review
  • Liaising with all interested parties including the client, funder, accounts, Independent Living Advisor, their manager, accountant and Independent Living Planner.
  • Collating all the information to the HomeCareDirect CQC Registered Manager for finalising the new budget.
  • Ensuring the new budget is communicated to all interested parties.

Qualifications and Experience:-  

  • High level of IT competency
  • Ability to use all Microsoft Office systems such as Outlook, Word Excel, Power Point, Desk Top Publisher, Access effectively.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance roles essential
  • Experience in Data presentation and Analysis essential.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong mathematical abilities.

Hours Of Work:

This is a full time position Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm with ½ break.

Full time working is considered to be 37.5 hrs/week and as the role dictates. 

Renumeration:

£21,500 / year for full time employment 37.5 hours per week Monday – Friday 9am – 5pm. This is an office based role
