Advice for Independent Living: For people not getting financial help from the council. Ruils advisors can visit you at home and help you and your family to explore your care and support options. They can also help you to arrange the support that you need as well as making regular visits to ensure that the services in place continue to work for you.

Support Planning and Brokerage: Support to help you to plan, identify and get the services that you need to meet your needs and to help you to remain living independently at home and engaged with your local community.

Personal Health Budgets: Support to help you to plan, identify and get the services that you need to meet your health needs.

Personal Assistant Recruitment: On-line matching service that enables you to recruit a Personal Assistant (www.find-a-pa.co.uk)

Pooling Budgets: Do you know other people who  like doing similar things to you? We can help you to set up an informal group where you can combine your resources and take part in activities together (www.poolingbudgets.org)

Employment Support: Interactive, on-line (and paper based) guide that takes you through the employment process from beginning to end. Excellent resources including easy to use templates www.employ-a-pa.co.uk

Support to be an employer: Join Ruils lively forum and learn from what other employers do. Get access to training events, workshops and other resources (www.employernetwork.org )

Advocacy: Having difficulty getting the services that you need? Perhaps you would benefit from having an advocate. Someone to help you to speak up. Ruils provide one to one or group advocacy sessions

Befriending: Volunteers can visit you in your home – to chat, get to know you and your interests and help you to find and attend activities in your community.

Money Advice Project: Supporting individuals who are struggling to pay bills or who are getting in to debt.

Sitting & Befriending: Gives parents caring for a child with a disability a chance for a short break and provides children with access to activities.

Training: Ruils offer training on Support Planning & Brokerage, Direct Payments, Advocacy, Volunteer Advocates, Being an Employer and Pooling Budgets.
