Norman Lamb, Care Services Minister, this week hosted the Department of Health

‘Personalisation of Care Summit’ in partnership with personalisation champions Think Local Act Personal. The summit was an opportunity for care professionals and people who use services, to review progress with personalisation.

The participants were asked to look beyond numbers and maintain a strong focus on
outcomes and results for people.

Key topics included:

  • People’s lived experience of personalisation
  • Personal budgets supporting health and social care integration
  • Supporting commissioning and market development and provider experience
  • Current position regarding progress with personal budgets
