Skills for Care and the National Skills Academy for Social Care continue to encourage registered managers to be ready for the new CQC inspections, by finding out more about the tools and support that they have to help all registered providers prepare for the changes to inspection and regulation.

This includes their new free Recommendations for CQC providers guide – the must have resource for registered managers.

Registered managers are telling Skills for Care that avenues to peer group support are proving incredibly useful such as Learn from Others which provides access to good practice which managers can learn from; and the Registered manager programme and Registered manager networks designed to better equip managers to meet the challenges they face by getting them together to share best practice and learning.

Their practical Frontline leaders and Lead to succeed leadership development programmes also facilitate the coming together of registered managers as they explore the key values and behaviours which reflect the CQC key lines of enquiry and inspection process; and help to build leadership confidence to manage more effectively and to deliver high quality care.
