HomeCareDirect work with a number of solicitors nationwide to achieve truly person centred, cost effective outcomes for people in need of support following a compensation award.

Through our work with case managers, we liaise directly with solicitors as the fee payer. It may be that the solicitors are acting on behalf of an individual whilst pursuing a compensation claim and applying for interim payments. It may also be that a case is settled and the person isn’t in a position to have financial capacity, so the solicitor will act as the deputy or receiver.

As a solicitor, we will work closely with you to ensure that the recipient of the compensation award receives the highest possible standard of care, whilst having a truly personalised and stable support package set up specifically for them.

Due to HomeCareDirect fully involving the individual and their family with the management of their own support, whilst having lower overheads than a conventional care agency, we also represent exceptional value for money – ensuring that people get the most out of their compensation award.

Training is specific to the individual, meaning personal assistant teams will only be trained in practices relevant to that individual – which leads to lower training costs whilst achieving a more personalised level of care and support.

On top of all this – since we take on the employment responsibilities of the personal assistant team, it provides peace of mind to all involved that everything is legal and in line with care quality commission standards.
